FINTEL launches new image
FINTEL this evening launched its new logo symbolising its readiness to face the competitive telecommunications environment.

With its plan to expand from the wholesaling side of its operation to tap into a totally new area for FINTEL, retailing.
And realising the challenges it anticipated to face in this transition, FINTEL chairman Savenaca Narube said the company was prepared to take on these challenges and adapt to the changing demands of the new deregulated operating conditions.

Narube said FINTEL's new beginning needed a new face reasoning in this new trading condition, branding was everything.

He said the logo encompassed the company's commitment, its focus and responsibilities to the people of Fiji.

"We believe that the new logo will bring clarity and confidence on our ability to provide you with a range of new services. These commitments go well beyond the call," Narube said while launching the new brand and image at Suva's Holiday Inn.

"Our logo also reflects the interconnectivity with the rest of the world that FINTEL offers Fiji using the Southern Cross Cable and the satellite service," he said.

He added this would provide the bandwidth other providers could provide.

"On the national level, we will continue to play our part in developing telecommunications in Fiji as we have done in the past 30 years.

"FINTEL shares in the vision that every household will be able to receive 1 megabit of bandwidth in their homes by 2015," Narube said.

"We are prepared to work aggressively with Government and other stakeholders to realise this dream," he said.
