FINTEL Donates to the Prime Minister's Flood Relief Appeal

FINTEL today made a much needed donation of $10,000 towards the Prime Minister's Flood Relief Appeal to assist those affected by the recent flooding that hit FIJI ISLANDS and claimed 11 lives with damages estimated at over 30 million dollars.
Business house donors were today hosted to tea by the interim Prime Minister during the cheque resentation. The funds collected will supplement Government's contribution under the National Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Programme.
A tropical depression that passed over the Fiji Islands group on 8th January causing torrential rain and flooding to the whole of the country. On Monday 12th January, the interim Prime Minister opened a National Relief and Rehabilitation Bank Account to allow for business houses and interested members of the public to donate cash for victims of the floods.
